CIS Armenia International School is an international Cambridge-accredited institution in Yerevan for students aged 3 to 18. The school offers a British-style curriculum that blends the British National, Cambridge International and Armenian National curricula, guiding learners from Early Years Preschool through Primary to Secondary, with Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge International AS and A Levels in the senior years, alongside the Australian Curriculum. The campus is a four-floor building in the city centre with bright, well-resourced classrooms and interactive technologies. Facilities include a science laboratory and dedicated computer science rooms, plus a sports equipment area and on-site playground; the city-centre location is paired with 24/7 safety. An after-school programme provides a wide range of activities, and school trips are organised as part of the curriculum. Core subjects include English (or ESL), Mathematics, Science and ICT, alongside Armenian and Russian, with additional subjects such as Art, Geography, History, Music and Physical Education.

CIS Armenia International School teaches British Curriculum, Cambridge (Primary), Cambridge (Secondary), Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS Levels, Cambridge A Levels, Australian Curriculum for students aged 3 to 18.
The curriculum is a British-style program accredited by the University of Cambridge. It combines the British National, Cambridge International, and Armenian National curricula for students aged 3 to 18. It starts with Early Years Preschool, continues through Primary School, and moves to Secondary School (Lower Secondary, IGCSE, AS and A Level).
A Level qualifications are the final two years and are accepted by universities around the world. Some CIS Armenia students go on to study in the USA and Canada.
Personal, Social and Emotional Development is embedded in CIS Armenia's curriculum. In Early Years Preschool, the program is taught in English and focuses on developing personal, social and emotional wellbeing and related skills. In Primary, Personal and Social Education is included as part of the Cambridge International Curriculum.
English is the language of instruction. In Primary, the school uses English as a Second Language guidelines; Russian is taught from Year 1, and Armenian is taught for native speakers from Year 1.
The curriculum includes Personal, Social and Emotional Development across Early Years to Primary to support mental wellbeing. Community Wellbeing is featured in school communications and newsletters.
Enrollment for 2025-2026 starts March 3, 2025, for children aged 3 to 18. Parents may visit CIS Armenia International School before submitting an application by calling the Admissions Office to schedule a visit. To apply, fill in the online application form and submit it to the Admissions Office electronically. All applicants undergo assessments as part of the admissions process, with separate guidelines for Primary and Secondary entry. Early Years Foundation Stage (FS1-FS2): filled in application form; play-based interview with the child and Q&A with parents; copies of the applicant's passport and its Armenian translation; copies of the applicant's parent/legal guardian's passport and its Armenian translation. Primary School Years 1 and 2: filled in application form; basic Maths and English assessment; interview with the school psychologist; previous school reports (if applicable); copies of passports with Armenian translations; meeting with the Head of Primary School. Primary School Years 3-6: filled in application form; interview with the school psychologist; Cambridge test in Maths, English or English as a Second Language; interview with Head of Primary; previous school reports. Secondary School (Year 7-Year 13): filled in application form; interview with the school psychologist; diagnostic tests in English and Maths; previous school reports; passport for the applicant and its Armenian translation; passport of the applicant's parent/legal guardian and its Armenian translation; meeting with the Head of the Secondary School. The assessments determine the support or extension program needed and placement. Acceptance occurs when a place is available: sign the school contract and pay tuition. Most students join in September, but admissions may occur throughout the year if places are available. Official documents required include: passport of the applicant; passport of one of the applicant's parents; two passport-size photographs of the applicant; Medical and Health Record for the child (form N26 from a medical center); academic transcripts and attendance records from previous schools (if applicable). Age placement follows a Cambridge Curriculum 13-year system; age is determined as of August 31 of the Admissions Year, with Foundation Stage 1 for ages 3-4, Foundation Stage 2 for ages 4-5, Year 1 for ages 5-6, Year 2 for ages 6-7, Year 3 for ages 7-8, Year 4 for ages 8-9, Year 5 for ages 9-10, Year 6 for ages 10-11, Year 7 for ages 11-12, Year 8 for ages 12-13, Year 9 for ages 13-14, Year 10 for ages 14-15, Year 11 for ages 15-16, Year 12 for ages 16-17, Year 13 for ages 17-18.
