The architecture echoes Harrow School on the Hill in London and is designed to integrate nature into daily learning. It provides bilingual K-12 education on a campus designed for both day students and boarding.

Harrow Chongqing offers Scholarships to the most gifted applicants and existing students to support, nurture and challenge their talents. A scholarship is a financial award for excellence and its value may be up to 100% of the school tuition fee. A Scholar is likely to have natural ability and talent but most importantly a love of learning and a growth mindset, going above and beyond expectations, with outstanding conduct. Scholarship awards reflect a commitment to academic excellence for life and leadership and are more than merely a financial remission. The Scholarship Programme provides targeted, personalised provision for those on a trajectory to attend top universities globally, with identified students given enhanced opportunities to demonstrate their abilities. Currently Harrow Chongqing offers The Churchill Scholarship, a full scholarship awarded to students who excel across all academia, with values up to 100% of tuition. Other scholarship awards on offer range in value from 20,000 RMB to half scholarships of 130,000 RMB. External applicants will complete the normal admissions process and can apply for scholarship at Stage 1; scholarship applicants complete examinations and interviews, including a music audition if applicable, with Stage 3 moderation and decisions made alongside offers.
