King's School The Crown delivers the British National Curriculum through to IGCSE in partnership with Cambridge and the British Council. The Crown is integrated from Early Years to Sixth Form on a single campus. Arc Pathway is the primary platform for its Early Learning School. Specialist subject teachers deliver Maths, English, Spanish, French, Science, Music, Physical Education, Dance, Public Speaking and Drama from Primary onward. Performing Arts and Sport are integral parts of the curriculum, guided by Inspired Education Group's Three Pillars approach. Students benefit from Inspired's global network, including a Global Exchange Programme.

Specialist counselling helps graduates gain admission to top universities; over 90% go to their first-choice university, and one in three attend Russell Group or Ivy League institutions.

Health and wellbeing are central to student development. A dedicated pastoral team provides care and support for every student to maximise wellbeing. King's School The Crown is a mainstream school and has limited resources to cater for students whose learning needs require significant support. Parents of children with learning needs are required to provide information including SENCO reports and IEPs or educational psychologist reports. The school will consider extra pastoral support for children with SENDA to address additional challenges. Staff training covers safeguarding and SENDA-related considerations. The school provides access to trained nurses and school counsellors to support vulnerable students.

The curriculum is delivered in English, and students applying for entry are required to be proficient English speakers. Our entry assessments may include EAL considerations, and additional assessment may be required at the school's discretion to determine appropriate placement. An English language proficiency assessment is part of the admissions process.

The school believes every student should be healthy, happy and safe. A dedicated pastoral team provides care and support to maximise wellbeing. Extracurricular activities strengthen mental wellbeing and offer opportunities to develop confidence, social skills and resilience. Performing arts and sport contribute to students' social and emotional growth, including public speaking and teamwork.

Safeguarding and child protection apply to all students from Nursery to Year 13 and involve every member of staff. The policy follows UK and Egyptian guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education, and is reviewed annually. Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) and deputies lead safeguarding across the school. Staff receive regular safeguarding training, and there are clear procedures for reporting concerns and escalating them to external agencies when needed. The framework also covers online safety, safeguarding for students with SENDA, and confidential information sharing and record-keeping.

The school is a selective, mixed‑ability, co‑educational British Curriculum international school for ages 3 months to 18 years. All instruction is in English, with language lessons in Arabic, French and Spanish. Students are assessed for entry to the year group appropriate for their age: Nursery and FS1/FS2 are observed; Years 1–2 are observed; Years 3–6 undertake entrance assessments; Years 7–11 sit online entrance assessments (Verbal, Non‑Verbal, Quantitative and Spatial reasoning) and a short writing task; Sixth Form follows either A Levels or the IB Diploma Programme. The formal application process opens a year before September admission. Steps: submit the application form and relevant documentation; assessment scheduled and registration fee paid; assessments and interviews with the Head of School and Executive Head; place offered; tuition fees and deposit paid. Before applying, provide: parents' IDs, pupil passport and previous school report. For transfers within Egypt, provide a transfer certificate stamped by the current school and the relevant educational department after passing the BISC assessment exam. For international entrants, provide the last two school reports stamped by the Egyptian Embassy or Consulate and passport copies for the child and both parents; foreigners may submit a copy of their residence permit. The application fee is 20,000 EGP per child, refundable if a place is not available within the date or if the child does not meet the criteria; fee may be waived at the school's discretion. Admission criteria include an entrance assessment designed to determine if the student can access the curriculum, exemplary academic and behavioural records, native English speaker status, and siblings already attending; early application is encouraged. Wait lists are common; the school operates a rolling waitlist for most year groups, with Year 10 and Year 12 entry preferred at the start of the academic year and no later than the end of October, subject to the Executive Head's approval. Being on the waitlist does not guarantee a place; offers are made from the waitlist based on the Admissions criteria. If, toward the end of the academic year, no place is offered, the Admissions team may request a re‑evaluation and, if progress is satisfactory, the pupil may be waitlisted as a priority to roll‑over to the next academic year. Deferrals of up to one academic year are possible. When a place is offered, the family is contacted by telephone and email and must sign the Parent School Agreement and pay the 20,000 EGP application fee plus the first term's tuition. Enrollment is not final until all fees and documentation have been received; the first term is probationary. Conditional offers are governed by the school's policy, with a defined review process.

The Nsouli Scholars Initiative provides 50 fully funded secondary education places at any Inspired school at any given time, a global program within Inspired Education Group. Nsouli Scholars are exceptional individuals who would not otherwise access premium education; eligible students should demonstrate excellence in academics and in at least one of sports or performing/creative arts, age 13 or older, and exhibit strong personal qualities such as integrity, leadership, ambition, boldness, and hard work. A portion of scholarships may be awarded to individuals of Lebanese origin.
