Si Ri Panya International School follows the British National Curriculum in Primary (ages 5–11), using a topic-based “Big Idea” approach where subjects are linked under a common theme each term. The Early Years Foundation Stage (ages 3–5) focuses on key developmental areas through play-based and structured activities. In Secondary (ages 11–16), students follow the Cambridge Lower and Upper Secondary programmes, leading to IGCSE examinations in the final two years. Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9) includes English (first language or ESL), Mathematics, Science, Global Perspectives, Thai, Computing, Design & Technology, Food Technology, Art, History, Geography, Physical Education, and PSHE. Assessment is supported by Cambridge progression tests each term, which help monitor and guide learning. The curriculum aims to prepare students for internationally recognised qualifications while maintaining continuity from Early Years through to the end of Key Stage 4.
Si Ri Panya International School incorporates Social and Emotional Learning into the curriculum through PSHE lessons, class discussions, and collaborative projects. Students engage in activities that develop skills such as empathy, conflict resolution, and responsible decision-making. Group work, themed events, and community activities are used to strengthen communication and teamwork. The approach supports students in recognising and managing emotions, building positive relationships, and contributing constructively to their school community.
The school has a designated SEN Lead within the Secondary Team who works with teachers and families to support students with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and other learning challenges. This includes social, emotional, and mental health support tailored to individual needs. Si Ri Panya is not a specialist SEN institution but provides specific expertise through this SEN Lead.
Si Ri Panya offers structured EAL & literacy support. Students whose first language is not English are assessed and placed into either Level 1 (intensive small-group pull-out plus in-class support) or Level 2 (free in-class transition support). These levels are designed to build students’ English skills and independence.
Mental wellbeing is supported through a range of pastoral provisions. These include a daily Morning Calm Drop‑In (quiet space for meditation, coloring, singing), Quiet Zones during breaks (offering calm alternatives with board games and mindfulness), Nurture Group Interventions using art, cooking, and craft activities, and Pastoral Learning Walks by the Pastoral Lead to check in on students’ social and emotional state.
Safeguarding is led by the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), supported by a Deputy DSL, and follows the Child Protection Act of Thailand (2003) and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. All staff receive annual safeguarding awareness training, with induction training for new staff. The policy outlines clear reporting procedures, confidentiality protocols, and coordination with Thai authorities or external agencies in cases of suspected abuse. A Board Member provides quality assurance and oversight of safeguarding practices
1. Speak to the Admissions Team
Families are encouraged to contact the Admissions Team by email to discuss the school, ask questions, and arrange a visit. Visits include class observations and opportunities to meet pupils and staff. This step helps families gain a clear picture of the school environment before applying.
2. Complete the Application Form
An online application form must be completed for each child applying. This collects key personal and educational details needed to progress the application. Parents should ensure all requested information is complete to avoid delays.
3. Schedule and Attend the Assessment
After submitting the application form, the school arranges a one-hour, one-to-one assessment with a teacher. The assessment, conducted in an informal and engaging manner, covers developmental progress, literacy, numeracy, and reasoning. Where possible, parents should provide a recent school report in English (or with an English translation) showing academic levels and social skills.
4. Decision and Next Steps
Following the assessment, the school will inform parents if:
a) The entry requirements have been met and a place is offered.
b) The entry requirements have been met but the year group is full, so the applicant is placed on the waiting list.
c) The entry requirements have not been met, and no place can be offered at that time.
To secure a place or a spot on the waiting list, parents must pay the security deposit within the time stated in the offer letter.
The school does not publicly disclose any scholarships except the sibling discounts.
The school operates a waitlist for year groups that are full. If a student meets entry requirements but no place is currently available, their name is added to the list. Offers from the waitlist are made when a space becomes available, in the order in which students were added, provided the entry requirements remain met.
