Lycée Franco-Argentin Jean Mermoz is a French international school in the AEFE network, welcoming students from ages 2 to 17. It offers bicultural, humanist education culminating in the Argentine Bachillerato and the French Baccalauréat, with an optional European English section. The curriculum is multilingual through three language pathways: the Spanish Language International Section for early years to CM2, ELCE for 6e to 3e, and SELO from 2nde to Terminale, supporting a continuous route to the baccalaureate. The school is located in Buenos Aires and is recognised by the French Ministry of National Education and by the Buenos Aires City Ministry of Education. With over 60 years of history, LJM fosters intercultural understanding and linguistic diversity across French, Spanish, English, Portuguese, Chinese and Latin. Extracurriculars include the Marmothèque library program, and the Association Sportive Jean Mermoz offering sport, theatre, choir and dance, among others. A welcoming community supports students throughout schooling.
